Choosing Colours For Mini Party Hats and Balloons
Animal themed parties remain very popular when it comes to children's birthdays or baby showers. Choosing whether you want a safari, jungle, polar, woodlands, Aussie animals, baby safari, llama, or farm theme is the easy part. If you're considering ordering one of our party animal kits, there is also the decision of colours that need to be made.
For some choosing colour combinations is super easy, for some it can be a bit of a chore. If you haven't decided on a colour scheme, here's a a short guide on how to choose mini hats and balloons that will look great together. In another post we'll look at some of our favourite 5-Pack Mini Balloon colour combinations.
Go monochromatic - This means choosing a base colour (e.g. blue) and using variations of that colour. Below we have an example for a blue mix and a pink mix.
Complementary colours - Put simply, these are colours that appear on opposite sides of the colour wheel (red/green, yellow/purple, blue/orange).
Brights or Pastels - Vibrant and saturated tones vs light and pale tones
Coordinate with other accessories - Customers typically purchase a bunting topper with mini party hats and balloons. Here are some colour schemes we've put together.
We've also made it easier with our pre-selected bright, pastel rainbow, jungle, pink, and blue mix mini balloon packs. custom mini balloons
